Appropriate Preposition:

  • Lame of ( খোঁড়া ) He is lame of one leg.
  • Proud of ( গর্বিত ) He is proud of his position.
  • Due to ( কারণে ) His absence is due to illness.
  • Qualified for ( যোগ্য ) He is qualified for the post.
  • Burst into ( ভেঙ্গে পড়া ) He burst into tears at the sad news
  • Favourable to ( অনুকূল (ব্যক্তি) ) This situation is favourable to me for doing this.

Idioms:

  • At arm’s length ( দূরে ) Try to keep the bad boy at arm’s length.
