Idioms:

  • have a bad time ( দুশ্চিন্তায় কাল কাটানো ; দুঃসময়ে পড়া )
  • Hard and fast ( বাঁধা ধরা ) There is no such hard and fast rule in this matter.
  • Null and void ( বাতিল ) The deed has been null and void now.
  • Catch red handed ( হাতে নাতে ধরা ) The thief was caught red handed.
