Appropriate Preposition:

  • Tolerant of ( সহিষ্ণু ) We must be tolerant of opposition.
  • Confined in ( আবদ্ধ (কক্ষ) ) He is confined in a room for five days.
  • Respect to ( সম্বন্ধে ) We are talking with respect to that matter.
  • Weak in ( কাঁচা ) He is weak in Mathematics.
  • Fit for ( যোগ্য ) He is not fit for the job.
  • Equal to ( সমতুল্য (কাজ) ) He rose equal to the occasion.

Idioms:

  • Bone of contention ( বিবাদের বিষয় ) The paternal property is the bone of contention between the two brothers.
  • under the weather ( ভাল না ; অসুস্থ ) I've been feeling under the weather
