Democracy বা গণতন্ত্র (গ্রীক: δημοκρατία dēmokratía, আক্ষরিক অর্থে "জনগণের দ্বারা শাসন") এমন এক ধরণের সরকার যেখানে জনগণের তাদের আইনী শাসক নির্বাচনের অধিকার রয়েছে।
