Appropriate Preposition:

  • Late in ( দেরি ) Why are you so late in coming?
  • Faith with ( বিশ্বাস (ভঙ্গ) ) He broke faith with me.

Idioms:

  • put a spoke to ones wheel ( কারও উন্নতিতে বাধা হওয়া )
  • Slow coach ( অলস প্রকৃতির লোক ) You cannot expect much from a slow coach like him.
  • All but ( প্রায় ) The poor villagers are all but ruined.
  • As if ( যেন ) He swims so beautifully as if he is the Olympic gold medalist.
