  • Appeal for ( আবেদন করা (কোন কিছু) ) He appealed for pardon.
  • Capable to ( সক্ষম ) He is capable of doing this alone.
  • Favourable to ( অনুকূল (ব্যক্তি) ) This situation is favourable to me for doing this.
  • Wait on ( সেবা করা ) The nurse waited on the patient.

Idioms:

  • a rotten apple ( কোনো একটা দলের সব ভালোর মধ্যে খারাপ বা মন্দটা ) In any group of average citizens there are bound to be a few rotten apples.
