Appropriate Preposition:

  • Tolerant of ( সহিষ্ণু ) We must be tolerant of opposition.
  • Envious of ( ঈর্ষান্বিত ) I am not envious of his riches.
  • Disgrace to ( কলঙ্ক ) He is disgrace to his family.
  • Hunger for ( তীব্র আকাঙ্খা ) His hunger for knowledge surprised us.
  • Plead for ( ওকালতি করা (কোনকিছু) ) I pleaded with him for justice (against the wrong done to me).
  • Enquire into ( অনুসন্ধান করা (কোন ব্যপার) ) He enquired of me into the matter.

Idioms:
