Appropriate Preposition:

  • Argue with ( যূক্তি দেখানো (ব্যক্তি) ) I argued with him for the point.
  • Vexed with ( বিরক্ত (ব্যক্তি) ) He is vexed with me at my conduct.
  • Grateful to ( কৃতজ্ঞ (ব্যক্তি) ) I am grateful to you for your help.
  • Offended at ( বিরক্ত (কোন কাজে) ) I am offended with you at your conduct.
  • Plead for ( ওকালতি করা (কোনকিছু) ) I pleaded with him for justice (against the wrong done to me).
  • Exempt from ( রেহাই দেওয়া ) He was exempted from the fine.

Idioms:
