Appropriate Preposition:

  • Officiate in ( পরিবর্তে কাজ করা (পদ) ) He officiated for me in that post.
  • Abide by ( মেনে চলা ) One should abide by the rules
  • Satisfaction in ( সন্তোষ ) I find satisfaction in gardening. Great was his satisfaction with her result.
  • Fill with ( পরিপূর্ণ ) This tank is filled with water.
  • Certain of ( নিশ্চিত ) He is now certain of his ground.
  • Rely on ( নির্ভর করা ) You can rely on him.

Idioms:

  • Birds eye view ( মোটামোটি ধারণা ; এক নজর ) He took a bird’s eye view of the flood-stricken area from an aeroplane.
  • By fits and starts ( অনিয়মিত ; মাঝে মাঝে ) He works by fits and starts.
  • Above board ( সংশয়হীন ভাবে নির্দোষ ) His activities are open and above board.
  • bad debts ( অশোধ্য বা অনাদায়ী ঋন ; যে ঋন শোধ করা যাবে না )
