  • Pity for ( করুণা ) Have pity for the poor.

Idioms:

  • As usual ( যথারীতি ) He is late as usual.
  • Out of date ( অপ্রচলিত ) This fashion is now out of date.
  • Red letter day ( স্মরণীয় দিন ) The 21 February is a red letter day in the history of Bangladesh.
  • At all ( আদৌ ) He does not know French at all.
  • Birds eye view ( মোটামোটি ধারণা ; এক নজর ) He took a bird’s eye view of the flood-stricken area from an aeroplane.
