Appropriate Preposition:

  • Good at ( দক্ষ ) He is good at tennis.
  • Differ with ( ভিন্ন মত হওয়া (ব্যক্তি) ) I differ with you on this point.
  • Retire from ( অবসর লওয়া ) He retired from service on a pension.
  • Angry for ( রাগান্বিত (কোন কিছু) ) I am angry for something.
  • Sentence to ( দন্ডাদেশ দেওয়া ) He was sentenced to death for murder.

Idioms:

  • walk in someone shoes ( কারো অভিজ্ঞতা বা অবস্থানে থাকা বোঝায় ) When you walk in my shoes, you might understand.
  • slap on the wrist ( মৃদু শাস্তি ) Although he broke the rules, he was only given a slap on the wrist
  • Fish out of water ( অস্বস্তিকর অবস্থায় ) When he came to the village, he felt like a fish out of water.
