  • Triumph over ( জয় করা ) Jim and Della triumphed over their poverty.
  • Pleased at ( সন্তুষ্ট (কোনকিছু) ) I am pleased at the news.
  • Angry for ( রাগান্বিত (কোন কিছু) ) I am angry for something.

Idioms:

  • Three R's ( প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা ) The majority of our people have not yet learnt the three R's.
  • till the cows come home ( অনেক সময় ধরে ) I could play outside till the cows come home
  • In black and white ( লিখিতভাবে ) Put down the statement in black and white.
