  • Complain to ( অভিযোগ করা (ব্যক্তি) ) The complained to the Director against the Manager about her behavior.
  • Ambition for ( উচ্চাকাঙ্খা ) He has no ambition for fame in life.
  • Prohibit from ( বারণ করা ) I prohibited him from going there.
  • Mad with ( উন্মাদ প্রায় ) He is mad with pain.
  • Contrary to ( বিপরীত ) His action is contrary to his words.

Idioms:

  • bell the cat ( সর্তকতার জন্য বিড়ালের গলায় ঘন্টা বাধা ; কোন কাজ যেটা অর্জন করা কঠিন বা অসম্ভব ) Everybody is trying but who actually bell the cat?
  • Out of the wood ( বিপদমুক্ত ) He is not yet out of the wood.
