Appropriate Preposition:

  • Look at ( তাকানো ) Look at the moon.
  • Obstacle to ( বাধা ) Poverty is often obstacle to higher studies.
  • Interfere with ( হস্তক্ষেপ করা (ব্যক্তি) ) Do not interfere with me in my business.
  • Close to ( নিকটে ) The school is very close to our house.
  • Live for ( বেঁচে থাকা ) He lives for fame.
  • Polite in ( নম্র ) He is polite in his manners. (Polite to strangers).

Idioms:

  • Of course ( অবশ্যই ) Of course, you know what that means
  • a rotten apple ( কোনো একটা দলের সব ভালোর মধ্যে খারাপ বা মন্দটা ) In any group of average citizens there are bound to be a few rotten apples.
  • At a low ebb ( নিম্নমুখী ) His fame is at a low ebb now.
  • Out of sorts ( ঈষৎ অসুস্থ ) He is out of sorts now.
  • Three R's ( প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা ) The majority of our people have not yet learnt the three R's.
