Appropriate Preposition:

  • Angry for ( রাগান্বিত (কোন কিছু) ) I am angry for something.
  • Anxious about ( উদ্বিগ্ন ) I am anxious about my health.
  • Destined to ( ভাগ্য নির্দিষ্ট ) He was destined to death.
  • Preferable to ( অধিক পছন্দযোগ্য ) Death is preferable to dishonor.
  • Blind of ( দৃষ্টিশক্তিতে অন্ধ ) He is blind of one eye.
  • Eager about ( আগ্রহী ) He is eager about the result.

Idioms:

  • Achilles heel ( দুর্বলতা বা ত্রুটি ) He is trying to hide but everybody knows his achilles' heel
  • Turn a deaf ear to ( মনোযোগ না দেওয়া ) He turned a deaf ear to my proposal.
  • At arm’s length ( দূরে ) Try to keep the bad boy at arm’s length.
