Idioms:

  • Hold good ( প্রযুক্ত হওয়া ) This ruls will not hold good here.
  • big cheese ( দলের বা পরিবারের সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ব্যক্তি ) He is the big cheese who control everything in our group.
  • Bring to light ( প্রকাশ করা ) At last all the facts were brought to light.
  • when pigs fly ( কখনও না ) I will help you when pigs fly
  • Gift of the gab ( বাককটুতা ) An advocate should have the gift of the gab.
  • Hard and fast ( বাঁধা ধরা ) There is no such hard and fast rule in this matter.
