Appropriate Preposition:

  • Take after ( সদৃশ হওয়া ) The boy takes after his father.
  • Divide into ( বিভক্ত করা (অংশ) ) It was divided into several parts.
  • Vexed with ( বিরক্ত (ব্যক্তি) ) He is vexed with me at my conduct.
  • Different from ( পৃথক ) This book is different from that.
  • Envy of ( ঈর্ষা ) I have no envy of him.
  • Occur to ( মনে হওয়া ) The idea never occurred to me.

Idioms:

  • Curry favour ( তোষামোদ করিয়ে প্রিয় হওয়া ) He knows how to curry favour with officers.
