Appropriate Preposition:

  • Favourable to ( অনুকূল (ব্যক্তি) ) This situation is favourable to me for doing this.
  • Supply to ( যোগান দেওয়া (ব্যক্তি) ) He supplied food to us.
  • Opposite to ( বিপরীত ) Your idea is opposite to mine.

Idioms:

  • In a hurry ( তাড়াহুড়ার মধ্যে ) Don't do the work in a hurry.
  • In order to ( উদ্দেশ্য ) He came here in order to meet my mother.
  • Turn down ( প্রত্যাখান করা ) He turned down my proposal.
  • Apple of discord ( বিবাদেয় বিষয় ) The paternal property has become an apple of discord between the two brothers.
