Appropriate Preposition:

  • Proud of ( গর্বিত ) He is proud of his position.
  • Require of ( প্রয়োজন হওয়া (কোন কিছু) ) I required a loan of him.
  • Lament for ( বিলাপ করা ) She lamented for her child.
  • Acquainted with ( পরিচিত ) I am acquainted with her.
  • Addicted to ( আসক্ত ) He is addicted to separate.

Idioms:

  • Read between the lines ( তাৎপর্য বোঝা ) Try to read between the lines of the letter.
  • At dagger drawn ( খড়গহস্ত ) The two brothers are now at daggers drawn.
