Appropriate Preposition:

  • Comply with ( মেনে নেওয়া ) I shall comply with your request.
  • Based on ( ভিত্তি থাকা ) Your remarks were not based on the facts.
  • Long for ( কামনা করা ) He longed for fame.
  • Accompanied with ( একসঙ্গে ঘটা ) He has fever accompanied with headache.
  • Make out ( বুঝতে পারা ) I cannot make out what you say.

Idioms:

  • Square meal ( পেট ভরা আহার ) He is too poor to have a square meal every day.
  • ABC ( প্রাথমিক জ্ঞান ) Everybody must know at least the ABC of religion.
  • Bed of roses ( আরামদায়ক অবস্থা ) Life is not a bed of roses.
