Appropriate Preposition:

  • Junior to ( নিম্নপদস্থ ; বয়সে কম ) He is junior to me in service.
  • Heir of ( উত্তরাধিকারী (ব্যক্তি) ) He is the heir of his uncle.
  • Satisfied with ( সন্তুষ্ট ) I am satisfied with him or I am satisfied of the truth.
  • Smell of ( গন্ধ দেয় ) This glass smells of wine.
  • Lacking in ( অভাব আছে এমন ) He is lacking in courage.
  • Rely on ( নির্ভর করা ) You can rely on him.

Idioms:

  • Achilles heel ( দুর্বলতা বা ত্রুটি ) He is trying to hide but everybody knows his achilles' heel
  • hold your horses ( সবুর করা ; ধৈর্য ধরা ) Hold your horses in trouble, you will get your reward.
