Appropriate Preposition:

  • Deal in ( ব্যবসা করা ) He deals in rice.
  • Agree to ( একমত হওয়া (প্রস্তাব) ) I can't agree to the proposals.
  • Glance at ( চোখ বুলিয়ে নেওয়া ) He glanced at me casually.
  • Engaged to ( বাগদত্ত ) Lila was engaged to him.
  • Differ on ( ভিন্ন মত হওয়া (ব্যপার) ) I differ with you on this point.
  • Wish for ( আকাঙ্খা করা ) I do not wish for name and fame.

Idioms:

  • Sink in ( আবদ্ধ হওয়া, ডুবে যাওয়া ) He sank in mud or the ship sank into the sea.
  • a bad apple ( কোনো একটা দলের সব ভালোর মধ্যে খারাপ বা মন্দটা ) In any group of average citizens there are bound to be a few bad apples.
  • By no means ( কোন ভাবেই না ) I shall by no means call on him.
