Appropriate Preposition:

  • Liking for ( রুচি ) She has a liking for music.
  • Good at ( দক্ষ ) He is good at tennis.
  • Enter into ( প্রবেশ করা ) He entered into the room.
  • Aptitude for ( স্বাভাবিক দক্ষতা ) I have no aptitude for Mathematics.
  • Arrive at ( পৌঁছানো ) We arrived at the station in time.
  • Search of ( অনুসন্ধানে ব্যস্ত ) They are in search of nice bird.

Idioms:

  • Dead language ( যে ভাষা এখন আর কথ্য নয় ) Sanskrit is a rich language, but it is now a dead language.
  • Birds eye view ( মোটামোটি ধারণা ; এক নজর ) He took a bird’s eye view of the flood-stricken area from an aeroplane.
  • Bag and baggage ( তল্পিতল্পাসহ ) He left the place bag and baggage.
  • till the cows come home ( অনেক সময় ধরে ) I could play outside till the cows come home
