Capital
Capital শব্দটি noun বা adjective হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হতে পারে।
Meaning as a noun:
1. একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ শহর যা কোন এলাকা বা দেশের সরকারের প্রশাসনিক কেন্দ্র। রাজধানী।
An important city which is the administrative center and seat of government of a region or country.
Examples:
- Dhaka is the capital of Bangladesh. (ঢাকা বাংলাদেশের রাজধানী।)
- Tripoli is the capital of Libya.
2. একটি স্থান যা কোন বিশেষ দ্রব্য বা কাজের সাথে যুক্ত।
A place connected with any specific product or activity.
Examples:
- Chittagong is the business capital of Bangladesh. (চট্টগ্রাম বাংলাদেশের ব্যবসার কেন্দ্র বা রাজধানী।)
3. বিনিয়োগকৃত অর্থ বা মূলধন।
Invested money.
Example:
- Jim has no capital to start the business. (জিমের ব্যবসাটা শুরু করার মতো কোন মূলধন নেই।)
4. ইংরেজীতে বড় হাতের অক্ষর যা কোন বাক্য বা নামের শুরুতে থাকে।

Example:
- You have to write your name in capitals. (তোমার নামটা বড় হাতের অক্ষরে লেখতে হবে।)

Capitol
Capitol শব্দটি noun হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Meaning as a noun:
1. ওয়াশিংটন ডিসির যে এলাকায় সিনেট এবং কংগ্রেস অবস্থিত।
The area in Washington, D.C. where the Senate and Congress are sited.
Example:
The president and ministers will have a meeting in the state capitol. (স্টেট ক্যাপিটলে রাষ্ট্রপতি এবং মন্ত্রীদের একটি সভা আনুষ্ঠিত হবে।)
