Bring & Fetch

Bring /verb/ (আনয়ন করা):

কোথাও হতে ফিরে আসার সময় বোঝাতে bring বসে।

Bring means to come with (something or someone) to a place.

Example:  

  • Sakib brought me a camera when he came from the USA. (Fetch নয়)
  • I didn't bring anything formal.
  • She brought her boyfriend home to meet her parents.
  • This radio station brings you all the news as it happens.
  • It won't bring them back.

 

Fetch /verb/ (গ্রহন করা):

অল্প দুরুত্ব এবং অল্প সময় এর ক্ষেত্রে fetch বসে। যাওয়া এবং আনা বোঝাতে fetch বসে।

Fetch means to go or come after and bring or take back.

Example:

  • Please fetch me a glass of water. (Brought নয়)
  • If you throw the ball the dog will fetch it.
  • Hunting dogs are trained to fetch.
  • This table should fetch quite a bit at auction.
