লভ্যাংশ প্রদানের ক্ষেত্রে এবং প্রতিষ্ঠানের সম্পদের বিপরীতে দাবির ক্ষেত্রে যে শেয়ারের সাধারণ শেয়ারের ওপর অগ্রাধিকার আছে কিন্তু ভোটাধিকার অর্পণ করে না তাকে Preferred Stock বা অগ্রাধিকার শেয়ার বলা হয়।
