Am to vs Have to

Am to:

Am to /are to/is to ব্যবহৃত হয় বাধ্যবাধকতা বোঝাতে।

Am to /are to/is to is used in an obligatory situation.

Example:

  • The staffs are to attend the office by 9 am. (have to নয়)
  • The students are to attend the school by 8 am.
  • The people are to attend the procession.
  • The students are to joined the rally. 

 

Have to:

Have to/ has to বসে কর্তার নিজের ইচ্ছাশক্তি বোঝাতে।

Have to/ has to is used to mean the will power of the subject.

Example:

  • I have to go to my friend’s home today. (am to নয়)
  • I just have to have that shirt.
  • I don't want to go to school, but I have to.
  • That has to be the postman.
