Eatable শব্দটি adjective এবং noun হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Edible শব্দটিও adjective এবং noun হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Meaning as an adjective:
খাওয়ার জন্য নিরাপদ অর্থাৎ যা বিষাক্ত নয়। ভোজ্য। এই শব্দটি eatable শব্দটি থেকে আরও শক্তিশালী।
Safe to eat i.e. which is not poisonous. This word is stronger than the word eatable.
Examples:
- Please don’t use those leaves in cooking because those are not edible. (দয়া করে ঐ পাতাগুলোকে রান্নায় ব্যবহার করো না কারণ সেগুলো ভোজ্য নয়।)
- They bought a lot of vegetables along with some edible mushrooms.
