Emotional

Emotional শব্দটি একটি adjective.

Meaning as an adjective:

1. মানুষের আবেগ সম্পর্কিত।

Pertaining to people’s emotions.

Examples:

  • The man has an emotional attachment to this place. (লোকটির এই স্থানটির সাথে একটা আবেগ সম্পর্কিত আসক্তি আছে।)
  • Jim is giving his friend emotional support.
  • Linda is passing through emotional difficulties.

2. আবেগপ্রবণ। গভীর আবেগসম্পন্ন।

Moody or excitable. Having an intense feeling.

Emotive শব্দটিও একটি adjective.

Meaning as an adjective:

আবেগে নাড়া দেয় এমন। এই শব্দটি সাধারণতঃ ভাষা, বিষয়বস্তু এবং ছবির ক্ষেত্রে প্রযোজ্য।

Intended to stir the emotions. This word is generally applied to language, facts, and images.

Examples:

  • It was a highly emotive advertisement. (এটা ছিলো ভীষণভাবে আবেগে নাড়া দেয়ার মতো একটি বিজ্ঞাপণ।)
  • The language of the book was very emotive.
