1. সংক্রামক। যা সংক্রমণের মাধ্যমে ছড়িয়ে পড়ে, একজন মানুষ, উদ্ভিদ বা প্রাণী থেকে অন্য মানুষ, উদ্ভিদ বা প্রাণীতে। এ ধরনের রোগের ধারক হলো জীবাণু যা বাতাস বা পানির মাধ্যমে ছড়িয়ে পড়ে।
