Bias
Bias, শব্দটি noun এবং verb হিসেবেও ব্যবহৃত হতে পারে।
Meaning as a noun:
1. আপনার ব্যক্তিগত মতামতের প্রাধান্যের কারণে কোন নির্দিষ্ট ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুর পক্ষে বা বিপক্ষে অবস্থান করার পদক্ষেপ ।
The act of defending or standing against of a specific person or thing in an unjust way due to the preference of your personal opinion.
Examples:
- The minister was accused of showing bias. (মন্ত্রীটি পক্ষপাতের জন্য অভিযুক্ত ছিলো।)
- The judge was impartial and did not show any bias.

2. কোন বিশেষ বস্তু বা বিষয়কে সমর্থন করার পদক্ষেপ।

Meaning as a verb:
Feeling or showing favor to someone/something or opposing someone/something.
কারও বা কোনোকিছুর পক্ষে সমর্থন অনুভব করা বা দেখানো অথবা কারও বা কোনোকিছুর বিরুদ্ধচারণ করা।
Examples:

Prejudice
Prejudice, শব্দটিও noun এবং verb হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হতে পারে।
Meaning as a noun:
1. Predetermined opinion not based on any practical experience or reason.
কোন বাস্তব অভিজ্ঞতা বা কারণের ওপর ভিত্তি না করে পূর্বনির্ধারিত মতামত।
Examples:
- You are making decisions based on your own prejudices. (তুমি নিজের পূর্বনির্ধারিত মতামতের ওপর ভিত্তি করে সিদ্ধান্ত নিচ্ছো।)
- This kind of prejudice cannot be accepted.
2. Injury or harm which occurs or may be occurred because of a judgment or an action.
কোন বিচার বা আদেশের কারণে ঘটা বা ঘটতে পারা কোন আঘাত বা ক্ষতি।
Example:
- The Government is not expecting any prejudice because of the change in this law. (সরকার এই আইনের পরিবর্তনের কারণে কোন ক্ষতি আশা করছে না।)
Meaning as a verb:
1. পক্ষপাতিত্ব করানো।
Making biased.
Example:
- The circumstances prejudiced us against Bob. (পরিস্থিতি আমাদেরকে ববের বিরুদ্ধে পক্ষপাতিত্ব করালো।)

Causing harm to something.
Example:
