Acrophobia কাকে বলে?

Acrophobia বা উচ্চতা ভীতি হলো উচ্চতার এক অস্বাভাবিক মাত্রাতিরিক্ত এবং অবিরাম ভয়। ভুক্তভোগীরা চূড়ান্ত উদ্বেগের মুখোমুখি হন যদিও তারা সাধারণত বুঝতে পারেন যে, নিয়মানুযায়ী, উচ্চতা তাদের কাছে সত্যিকার অর্থে কোনো হুমকির কারণ নয়। শব্দটির উৎপত্তি গ্রীক শব্দ "অ্যাক্রোন"এবং"ফোবস"থেকে। "অ্যাক্রোন" অর্থ উচ্চতা এবং "ফোবস"অর্থ ভয়।
