Who’s
Who+ is / who+has মিলে who’s বাক্যে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
এক্ষেত্রে pronoun ‘who’ এর apostrophe এবং s যুক্ত হয়ে “what or which person or people” কে নির্দেশ করে থাকে।
Examples:

- Who’s [who has] got the remote?
- A teacher who’s [who is] admired by everyone
- A teacher who’s [who has] inspired thousands of students.
apostrophe ব্যবহারের ফলে কয়েকটি অক্ষর বা শব্দ কমে যায়, ফলে বাক্য আরো সাবলীল হয়।
“I do not know who is going to go.” পরিবর্তিত হয়ে
“I don’t know who’s gonna go.” হয়ে যায়।
Whose
Who এবং which এর possessive form হল whose।
অর্থাৎ possessive form অনুযায়ী, he>his, she>hers এর মতো who/which>whose হয়ে থাকে।
Possessive form এর ক্ষেত্রে apostrophe বসে না।
Whose dog is this?[which person’s dog is this]
