Appropriate Preposition:

  • Rest with ( নির্ভর করা ; বিশ্বাসস্থাপন করা ) The whole matter rests with you.
  • Blush with (for) ( লজ্জায় রাঙা হওয়া ) She blushed with shame.
  • Eager for ( আগ্রহী ) He is eager for promotion in service.
  • Comply with ( মেনে নেওয়া ) I shall comply with your request.
  • Attend to ( মনোযোগ দেওয়া ) Attend to your lesson.
  • Prompt at ( চটপটে (ব্যক্তিত্ব) ) He is prompt at figures.

Idioms:

  • walk in someone shoes ( কারো অভিজ্ঞতা বা অবস্থানে থাকা বোঝায় ) When you walk in my shoes, you might understand.
  • By far ( সর্বাংশে ) He is by far the best boy in the class.
  • In vogue ( চালু ) This custom is not in vogue now.
  • Achilles heel ( দুর্বলতা বা ত্রুটি ) He is trying to hide but everybody knows his achilles' heel
