Appropriate Preposition:

  • Annoyed with ( বিরক্ত (ব্যক্তি) ) I was annoyed with him for being late.
  • Weary of ( ক্লান্ত ) He is weary of hard life.
  • Need of ( প্রয়োজনীয় ) I am in need of more money.
  • Delight in ( আনন্দ ) He takes delight in music.
  • Anxious about ( উদ্বিগ্ন ) I am anxious about my health.
  • Avail of ( সুযোগ গ্রহণ করা ) You must avail yourself of the business.

Idioms:

  • By no means ( কোন ভাবেই না ) I shall by no means call on him.
  • reinvent the wheel ( এমন কোনকিছু তৈরিতে সময় নষ্ট করা যা বর্তমানে বিদ্যমান ও ঠিকঠাক কাজ করে ) There's no point in us reinventing the wheel
  • walk in someone shoes ( কারো অভিজ্ঞতা বা অবস্থানে থাকা বোঝায় ) When you walk in my shoes, you might understand.
