Appropriate Preposition:

  • Boast of ( গর্ব করা ) Do not boast of your wealth.
  • Adjacent to ( সংলগ্ন ) Her college is adjacent to her house.
  • Deaf of ( বধির ) He is deaf of one ear.
  • Aptitude for ( স্বাভাবিক দক্ষতা ) I have no aptitude for Mathematics.
  • Proud of ( গর্বিত ) He is proud of his position.
  • Deal in ( ব্যবসা করা ) He deals in rice.

Idioms:

  • a bad apple ( কোনো একটা দলের সব ভালোর মধ্যে খারাপ বা মন্দটা ) In any group of average citizens there are bound to be a few bad apples.
  • In a fix ( মুশকিলে পতিত ) He is in a fix and does not know what to do.
  • Come to light ( প্রকাশিত হওয়া ) Their private talk has come to light at last.
