Appropriate Preposition:

  • Oblige to ( বাধিত করা ) I am obliged to him for his co-operation.
  • Rejoice at ( আনন্দ করা ) Every one rejoiced at her success.
  • Part with ( বিচ্ছিন্ন হওয়া (কোন জিনিস) ) She parted with the ring.
  • Quarrel with ( কলহ করা (ব্যক্তি) ) They quarreled with one another for the property.

Idioms:

  • In force ( বলবৎ ) This law is in force now.
  • put a spoke to ones wheel ( কারও উন্নতিতে বাধা হওয়া )
  • Slip of the tongue ( বলায় সামান্য ভুল ) This is a slip of the tongue, don't lay much stress on it.
