Appropriate Preposition:

  • Charge on or against ( অভিযোগ করা (ব্যক্তি) ) Theft was charged on (against) him.
  • Look over ( পরীক্ষা করা ) He is looking over the answer papers.
  • Brood on (over) ( মন খারাপ করা ) Do not brood over your misfortune.
  • Key to ( সমাধানের উপায় ) He has found out the key to his problem.
  • Prompt at ( চটপটে (ব্যক্তিত্ব) ) He is prompt at figures.
  • Parallel to ( সমান্তরাল ) This line is parallel to that.

Idioms:

  • Bird of a feather ( এক রকম স্বভাবের লোক ) Birds of a feather flock together.
  • End in smoke ( ব্যর্থ হওয়া ) All his plans ended in smoke.
  • walk in someone shoes ( কারো অভিজ্ঞতা বা অবস্থানে থাকা বোঝায় ) When you walk in my shoes, you might understand.
  • At home ( দক্ষ ) He is at home in mathematics.
  • Of course ( অবশ্যই ) Of course, you know what that means
