Appropriate Preposition:

  • Occur to ( মনে হওয়া ) The idea never occurred to me.
  • Vary from ( আলাদা হওয়া ) His opinion varies from his brother's.
  • Affectionate to ( স্নেহশীল ) He is affectionate to me.
  • Overcome with ( দমন করা ) He was overcome with fatigue.
  • Differ on ( ভিন্ন মত হওয়া (ব্যপার) ) I differ with you on this point.
  • Ill with ( অসুস্থ ) He is ill with fever.

Idioms:

  • Above all ( প্রধানত ; সর্বোপরি ) We should be kind, polite, and above all honest.
  • By all means ( সবর্প্রকার ) Try to do it by all means.
  • Head and ears ( সম্পূর্ণরূপে ) He is over head and ears in debt.
