Appropriate Preposition:

  • Parallel to ( সমান্তরাল ) This line is parallel to that.
  • Certain of ( নিশ্চিত ) He is now certain of his ground.
  • Useful to ( প্রয়োজনীয় (ব্যক্তি) ) This book is useful to us for examination.
  • Need for ( প্রয়োজনীয় ) I have no need for more money.
  • Ill with ( অসুস্থ ) He is ill with fever.
  • Triumph over ( জয় করা ) Jim and Della triumphed over their poverty.

Idioms:

  • On the spur of the moment ( মুহুর্তের উত্তেজনায় ) He did it on the spur of the moment.
  • In a fix ( মুশকিলে পতিত ) He is in a fix and does not know what to do.
