Appropriate Preposition:

  • Ashamed of ( লজ্জিত ) He is not ashamed of his conduct.
  • Complain against ( অভিযোগ করা (অন্য ব্যক্তি) ) The complained to the Director against the Manager about her behavior.
  • Senior to ( বয়সে বড়, উচ্চপদস্থ ) He is senior to me by four years.
  • Vain of ( অহঙ্কারী ) She is vain of her beauty.
  • Accompanied by ( সঙ্গী হওয়া ) He was accompanied by his father.
  • Proportionate to ( আনুপাতিক ) Punishment should be proportionate to offence.

Idioms:

  • By chance ( দৈবাৎ ) I met him on the way by chance.
