Appropriate Preposition:

  • Talk of ( কথা বলা (কোন জিনিস) ) I am talking to (with) Mr. Roy of (about, over) the matter.
  • Confident to ( আবদ্ধ (শয্যা) ) He is confined to bed.
  • Capable to ( সক্ষম ) He is capable of doing this alone.
  • Careful of ( যত্নবান ) He is careful of his money.
  • Faith with ( বিশ্বাস (ভঙ্গ) ) He broke faith with me.
  • Obsessed with ( উদ্বিগ্ন ) He is obsessed with the idea.

Idioms:

  • Slip of the tongue ( বলায় সামান্য ভুল ) This is a slip of the tongue, don't lay much stress on it.
  • Read between the lines ( তাৎপর্য বোঝা ) Try to read between the lines of the letter.
  • a bad apple ( কোনো একটা দলের সব ভালোর মধ্যে খারাপ বা মন্দটা ) In any group of average citizens there are bound to be a few bad apples.
