A sentence which expresses requests, advice, orders, commands, proposals, or suggestions are known as imperative sentence.
যে sentence দ্বারা কোন আদেশ, নিষেধ, অনুরোধ, উপদেশ ইত্যাদি প্রদান করা হয় তাকে Imperative Sentence বলে।
Example in Sentence:
- খোদার নিকট প্রার্থনা কর? –Pray to Allah.
- বাতিটি নিভাও –Put out the lamp.
- বাতিটি জ্বালাও –Lit the lamp.
- কামালকে দিয়ে কাজটি করিয়ে নাও –Get the work done by Kamal.
- ঠিক ঠিক উত্তর দাও– Answer to the point.
- আপন চরকায় তৈল দাও –Oil your own machine.
- আয় বুঝে ব্যয় কর –Cut your coat according to your cloth.
- নিজে বাঁচ অন্যকে বাঁচতে দাও –Live and let live.
- যেমন বল তেমন কর –Do as you say.
- ভাবিয়া করিও কাজ –Look before you leap.
- বইটি আদ্যোপন্ত পড় –Read the book from beginning to end.
- অপরের দোষ ধরিও না –Don’t find fault with others.
- ঘুমন্ত কুকুরকে আঘাত করো না- Don’t hit the sleeping dog.
- নিরুৎসাহ হইও না –Don’t lose heart.
- ফুটন্ত পানিতে হাত দিও না –Don’t touch the boiling water.
- চরিত্রহীন লোকের সাথে মিশিও না –Don’t mix with a characterless person.
- সর্বদা সত্য কথা বলিও –Always speak the truth.
- দয়া করে আমাকে এক পেয়ালা পানি দিন –Kindly give me a cup of water.
- অনুগ্রহ করে বাবাকে খবরটা দিও - Please inform my father of this news.
- তাকে ঘরের মধ্যে ঢুকতে দাও –Let him enter into the house.
- সে যা করতে চায় করতে দাও –Let him do whatever he likes.
- চলো আমরা নদীর ধারে বেড়াতে যাই –Let us go to walk by the river side.
