Sufficient enough

Incorrect: The money that I have is sufficient enough for paying the bill.

Correct: The money that I have is sufficient for paying the bill.

Note: Sufficient=enough=পর্যাপ্ত, যথেষ্ট

 

Advance forward

Incorrect: The class advanced forward rapidly.

Correct: The class advanced rapidly.

Note: Advance-এর ভিতরেই forward-এর অর্থ নিহিত রয়েছে।

 

Return back

Incorrect: Nira returned back to her village after she had finished her degree.

Correct: Nira returned to her village after she had finished her degree.

Note: Return মানেই প্রত্যাবর্তন করা বা come back. তাই return-এর সাথে back বসানোর দরকার নাই।

 

Nearly almost

Incorrect: I have nearly almost finished this chapter.

Correct: I have nearly finished this chapter.

Note: Nearly=almost=প্রায়। তাই nearly almost হলো redundant.

 

New discovery

Incorrect: It is a new discovery in Geography.

Correct: It is a discovery in Geography.

Note: Discovery-এর মধ্যে new কথাটি রয়েছে।

 

Compete together

Incorrect: The two rivals competed together.

Correct: The two rivals competed.

Note: Compete=পরস্পর প্রতিযোগিতা করা; together=পরস্পর। সুতরাং পরবর্তেীটি নিষ্প্রয়োজন।

 

New innovation

Incorrect: This is a new innovation in medical science.

Correct: This is an innovation in medical science.

Note: innovation=নতুন উদ্ভাবন। তাই new এখানে অপ্রয়োজনীয়।

 

Two twins

Incorrect: The two twins are sitting there.

Correct: The twins are sitting there.

Note: Twins=জমজ দুই ভাই বা বোন, তাই two এখানে নিষ্প্রয়োজন।

 

Final conclusion

Incorrect: They came to a final conclusion.

Correct: They came to a conclusion.

Or, They came to a final decision.

Note: Conclusion মানেই শেষ; তাই এর সাথে final যোগ করার প্রয়োজন নেই।
