বৃদ্ধিশীল কর হলো একটি কর যা করদাতার সামর্থ্যের ওপর ভিত্তি করে যে নিম্ন-আয় উপার্জনকারী তার ওপর যে উচ্চ-আয় উপার্জনকারী তার তুলনায় কম হারে কর আরোপ করে। অর্থাৎ এই কর ব্যবস্থা একজন উচ্চ-আয় উপার্জনকারীর কাছ থেকে একজন নিম্ন-আয় উপার্জনকারীর তুলনায় একটি বড় শতাংশ আদায় করে।
