So সাধারণত একটা comparison নির্দেশ করে। তাছাড়া so নতুন তথ্য দাবী করে।
So means ‘to a great extent or degree.’
Example:
- Sagor is not so tall as Shobuj is. (Very নয়)
- You do not know so much about me.
- You are so confident that you cannot fail.
- He is so beautiful that people love her so much.
- Mushfiq looked so handsome in his suit.
- We are all so excited about the trip.
Very/ adverb/ (খুব):
স্বাভাবিক গুরত্ব বোঝানোর জন্য very ব্যবহার করা হয়।
Very emphasizes the degree of something that belongs to or is part of a particular person or thing.
Example:
- Said is a very clever boy. (So নয়)
- That was a very brave thing to do.
- Passengers have very few complaints.
- I’m very glad that you came.
