Good vs Well

Good  (ভালো):

Good হলো একটি adjective ,যা noun বা pronoun –কে modify করে।

The definition of good is someone or something that is efficient, useful, healthy, strong, happy or skilled.

Example:

  • Soha looks good today. (Well নয়)
  • The milk is still good.
  • Is this a good dress for the party?
  • He is always good for a laugh.
  • It is a good mile from here.
  • He is always good for a laugh.

 

Well (ভালো):

Well হলো adverb এবং যা adverb এবং adjective -কে modify করে।

 Well means in a good manner or carefully or thoroughly.

Example:

  • Mushfiq has done well in the examination. (Good নয়)
  • You may well need your umbrella.
  • You would do well to say nothing more.
  • I well understand your intentions.
  • This product will answer your needs equally well.
