Appropriate Preposition:

  • Officiate for ( পরিবর্তে কাজ করা (ব্যক্তি) ) He officiated for me in that post.
  • Relevant to ( প্রাসঙ্গিক ) Your remark is not relevant to the point.
  • Rest with ( নির্ভর করা ; বিশ্বাসস্থাপন করা ) The whole matter rests with you.
  • Admit into ( প্রবেশাধিকার দেওয়া ) He was admitted into the room.
  • Occupied with ( নিয়োজিত (কাজ) ) He is occupied with his studies.
  • Aim at ( লক্ষ্য করা ) He aimed his gun at he bird.

Idioms:

  • Take one to task ( তিরস্কার করা ) He was taken to task for negligence of duty.
  • pulling your leg ( কৌতক করা ) Do not take it seriously, i was just pulling you leg
