Appropriate Preposition:

  • Prompt at ( চটপটে (ব্যক্তিত্ব) ) He is prompt at figures.
  • Sanguine of ( নিশ্চিত ) She is sanguine of her success.
  • Depend on ( নির্ভর করা ) Success depends on hard work.
  • Restore to ( ফিরিয়ে দেওয়া ) Restore his property to him.
  • Retire from ( অবসর লওয়া ) He retired from service on a pension.
  • Familiar with ( সুপরিচিত ) He is familiar with my brother.

Idioms:

  • Achilles heel ( দুর্বলতা বা ত্রুটি ) He is trying to hide but everybody knows his achilles' heel
  • Rank and file ( সাধারণ লোক ) We should pay attention to the rank and file of the country.
  • Man of straw ( অপদার্থ লোক ) We do not care a fig for a man of straw like him.
