Appropriate Preposition:

  • Indulge in ( আসক্ত হওয়া ) He indulge in drugs.
  • Assign to ( নির্দিষ্ট করে দেওয়া ) He assigned the task to me.
  • Heir of ( উত্তরাধিকারী (ব্যক্তি) ) He is the heir of his uncle.
  • Attach to ( জুড়ে দেওয়া ) Attach this file to the email.
  • Angry for ( রাগান্বিত (কোন কিছু) ) I am angry for something.
  • Senior to ( বয়সে বড়, উচ্চপদস্থ ) He is senior to me by four years.

Idioms:

  • slap on the wrist ( মৃদু শাস্তি ) Although he broke the rules, he was only given a slap on the wrist
  • Slip of the tongue ( বলায় সামান্য ভুল ) This is a slip of the tongue, don't lay much stress on it.
  • Black sheep ( কুলাঙ্গার ) He is a black sheep in his family.
